Options & Pricing

Price per square inch:

I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for all designs.

Example: A quilt top is 50 inches x 70 inches. 50 x 70 = 3500 x .025 = $87.50.

Minimum Charge: $50

I use and stock Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend and 100% cotton. I will special order other fiber varieties of Quilters Dream batting at your request. Batting is a separate charge and is not included in the square inch price. Batting pricing is detailed in the quilt booking form.

I offer the option to prepare your binding for you and sew it onto the front of your quilt. Trimming services are included for free.

Binding preparation: $15

Binding to front of quilt: 15 cents per inch

I stock Glide thread thread (#40 wt). I do not charge extra for thread as this is included in your square inch pricing**. When quilting, I try to match the thread to the lightest color of your top to help blend it in. If you have a specific thread color request, please let me know!

**Special order thread such as variegated and glow in the dark threads are an additional cost based on the cost of the thread

Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Texas and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is taped securely and labeled clearly.

Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.

I will keep you updated as your quilt goes through the process. When the quilt is completed, I will take photos and email or text them to you at no extra charge. You may use these photos however you wish.
